Our Story
According to Sam
​I met Parnia shortly after I started working at the Santa Clara Marriott. I remember our general manager introducing her as a new member of the team. As soon as I heard her name I realized she is Persian and I was real happy about it. I found out that she was part of the finance team and that her office was right next to mine. What a coencidence right! I couldn't have asked for more :)
I don't believe our relationship was built based on cliche love at first sight stories. We first got to know each other as coworkers and then as friends. Gradually, our friendship became more mature and turned into a solid relationship.
I quickly learned that Parnia is a strong individual who is going to make a great lifetime partner for me . I truly consdier myself a lucky man to have such an amazing woman in my life. You know what they say about there is great woman behind every successful man.

I met Sam in 2008 when I started working for Marriott. Within the first couple of weeks on the job he made it clear that we were going to be working closely together. Being the new girl on the block and in the Finance department I knew that I needed to keep my distance from him with his charming personality and great looks.
If you know Sam then you know he did not give up. Our friendship moved towards something more serious even with me constantly worrying about our office romance. He proved to me that our relationship was serious and important when he took on a new work adventure outside of Marriott.
With life’s ever changing journey we realized that we complete each other and in 2012 Sam proposed to me and we made the life long promise to be together. 3 years later (I said I would marry him but I never said when), we will formalize the promise and legally be bounded together in front of all of our family and friends.
